Do you accept insurance?
I am a private-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurer directly to ask about your out-of-network benefits, deductible, and reimbursement for telehealth psychotherapy.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients who would otherwise be unable to access therapy. Availability varies, so please feel free to ask about current openings during your consultation.
Where do sessions take place?
I currently provide therapy online via secure telehealth to clients located in California.
How do I get started?
Start by requesting a complimentary 15-minute consultation. We’ll talk briefly about what you’re looking for, you can ask any questions you have, and we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. If we decide to move forward, I’ll send you everything you need to get started.
How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions so we have enough consistency to build momentum in the work. Over time, we can talk together about whether a different frequency makes sense based on your needs, progress, and goals.
Do you work with teens?
Yes. I work with adolescents as well as adults and have extensive experience working with teens and families. When working with a minor, we’ll discuss consent, confidentiality, and the role of parents or caregivers before beginning therapy.

Can I come to therapy for parenting support without my child?
Absolutely. Sometimes the most helpful place to begin is with the parent. Therapy can provide space to better understand what's happening in your relationship with your child, think through communication and boundaries, and consider ways of responding differently, even if your child isn't participating in therapy.
Do you provide couples, family, or group therapy?
What if I'm not sure whether you're the right therapist for me?
Couples, family, and group therapy may be available depending on your needs and my current availability. Please inquire for pricing and additional information.
That's exactly what the complimentary consultation is for. Finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to have an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of how I work before deciding to begin.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.
